Interpretation
To ensure the highest quality, and to maintain the integrity of, interpretation services, English 2 Spanish personnel are accredited as either Qualified or Certified Interpreters by Oregon Health Authority and/or national agencies.
In so doing, we can guarantee the highest level of professionalism and mastery of both consecutive and simultaneous interpretation, as well as knowledge and integration of the Code of Ethics and Standards of Practice from all our interpreters.
We are familiar with, and ready to provide, interpreter services on-site, over the phone, or virtually, this can be scheduled or on-demand in the areas of healthcare, community, social, and commercial interpretation.
We offer on-demand interpretation services for Over the Phone Interpretation (OPI) and for Video Remote Interpretation (VRI). These services are offered for over 100 languages. For languages of higher diffusion this is a service that is available 24/7.
Mileage surcharges are added if traveling more than 25 miles roundtrip for on-site services. Additional technology needs are to be filled by the contracting party.
Translation
At English 2 Spanish we offer comprehensive written translation services of the highest quality. We understand that translation is not done simply with direct transmission of a written text from one language to the other, but that it is done by conveying the intent of the writer, and doing so in a way that is legible to the intended audience. Whether from English to Spanish or Spanish to English, we strive to honor the cultural specificity of the intended audience. To ensure this, all of our translations undergo rigorous peer review. All we need is the original editable file.
Our translation services are available for all your healthcare (medical, dental, and behavioral), community, social service, and commercial needs. We offer translation of certain legal documents, as well. Editing and formatting fees may apply to certain translations. Contact us for more information.
Rental of equipment
We offer rental of simultaneous interpretation devices. These devices allow all participants to remain in the same room regardless of the language they speak while the live simultaneous interpretation is taking place through these devices.
We offer rental of Auxiliary kits that consist of Assistive Listening Devices for anyone that is Hard of Hearing and magnifiers with light for those that have low vision or are visually impaired. We have other tools in these kits too. Please ask!
Peer Review
At English 2 Spanish, integrity, cultural specificity, and legibility are our highest priority for translations services. We understand that sometimes even a single incorrect word can change the entire meaning of a text. To ensure the highest quality of product, all of our translations are proofread by bilingual/bicultural personnel.
In an effort to help all organizations in Central Oregon maintain this level of service, we are also available to proofread your own personal or organizational in-house or contracted translations.

As such, English 2 Spanish personnel are available to provide our voices and faces to all your audio-visual English and Spanish-language needs.
We are able to record videos featuring English 2 Spanish personnel or provide voiceover for your video. We can translate scripts and provide text for subtitles. We can translate and record audio messages and audio files, as well. Additional technology needs must be fulfilled by the contracting party.
